Mexico Tenejapa is a specialty coffee with a vibrant aromatic profile, with fresh notes of lemon peel, soft hazelnuts and a delicate touch of orange marmalade. Grown in the Tenejapa region, Chiapas, at an altitude between 1000 and 1350 meters, it is composed of the Caturra, Costa Rica, Typica and Marsellesa varieties. The washed process enhances the purity and complexity of the flavors, giving a unique specialty coffee experience.

Where’s it from

enejapa is a municipality located in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. Situated in the highlands of the Chiapas region, Tenejapa is known for its rich indigenous culture and natural beauty. The Tzotzil Maya people form the predominant indigenous community in Tenejapa. They have a deep-rooted cultural heritage and maintain traditional customs and practices. The vibrant indigenous culture is evident in their clothing, language, rituals, and artisanal crafts.
